What's a wiki?

A wiki is a wonderful online collaboration tool where multiple users can create and edit the content of webpages. What does that mean? It means that these webpages are shared by the students in my classes. They each have the privilege and responsibility of contributing to this website. Using Wordle.net, I created this "word cloud" about what and who it takes to create a wiki.

Note to the public:

The projects displayed on this website are created by 4th and 5th grade students. As such, there may occasionally be misspelled words and grammatical errors. However, we try to clean those up as quickly as possible, without changing the essential work of the students. One of the goals of this website is encourage students to take responsibility for their written work and to edit and revise as necessary.

If you happen to spot problems on this website before I do, please let me know! And enjoy your child's work!
